This is the brand identity developed for Let's Talk Chef, an online resource and store for the culinary arts. The site itself features recipes, lessons, and products for cooking enthusiasts. The site has some social features, so Let's Talk Chef's image is meant not only to reflect cooking themes but also a community feeling. After discussing their target market, I developed a mark that simultaneously and subtly suggests a fork, the letters 'C' 'H' 'E' 'F', a chef's hat, and lines of text all contained within a speech bubble. This simple mark is infinitely scalable, clean, and striking. The branding was part of a larger effort including the design of the site itself, an example of which is shown below.
